Matthew Graham is the General Manager of Acorn TV, North America’s premier SVOD service specializing in dramas, comedies, and mysteries from the U.K., Canada, Australia, and beyond.  As GM, he oversees all day-to-day operations and execution against the strategic roadmap.  Since joining parent company RLJ Entertainment in 2014, Matthew has overseen channel growth of more than 500%, positioning Acorn TV as one of the largest and fastest growing niche SVODs.

Prior to joining RLJ Entertainment, Matthew founded and led PBS Digital Studios, a groundbreaking web-original programming division aimed at reaching young, diverse audiences through online video content. He oversaw the development of more than 50 digital-original series, which have garnered an audience of more than 10 million subscribers and nearly 1 billion views.

Matthew began his career in advertising as a commercial editor, working for Fortune 500 clients such as Sprint, Chevron, Virgin and Electronic Arts.  He co-founded one of Northern California’s top film editorial facilities, Umlaut Films.

Matthew has an MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, and a BA from the University of Virginia.

Matthew also sits on the Board of Directors of Kimiyaa, a London-based not-for-profit dedicated to using technology to help refugees build new lives in their host countries.
